NEET Coaching -- 11th & 12th

NEET-UG Preparation

Stream Overview

The PCB stream at IMS Classes is designed for students with medical, dental, or health science aspirations. Our integrated batch model combines Maharashtra HSC board preparation with NEET-UG and MHT-CET coaching in a single programme -- no separate coaching institute required.

Our PCB students have secured admissions to AFMC Pune (one of India's most competitive medical colleges), government medical colleges, and top health science programmes. The results are not accidental -- they are the outcome of a systematic approach: 2 teachers per subject, weekly full-length tests, chapter-wise daily assessments, and a teaching methodology built specifically for the demands of medical entrance exams.

Subjects Covered

Physics

Board and competitive exam-level Physics with emphasis on mechanics, optics, electrostatics, and modern physics. Two dedicated Physics teachers ensure numerical problem-solving and conceptual clarity develop side by side.

Chemistry

Physical, Organic, and Inorganic Chemistry covered in a structured sequence. NEET Chemistry requires both conceptual understanding and factual recall, and our teaching approach balances both.

Biology

Botany and Zoology covered comprehensively at both board and NEET level. Biology is the highest-weightage subject in NEET, and our approach prioritises systematic topic coverage, diagram-based learning, and high-yield revision. Two dedicated Biology teachers ensure students can access different explanation styles.

Integrated NEET + MHT-CET Batch

One programme covers board, NEET, and CET.

NEET preparation and board preparation share significant syllabus overlap, but they test differently. The board exam rewards structured, descriptive answers; NEET rewards speed, accuracy, and the ability to recognise distractors in MCQ format. Our integrated batch trains students for both.

  • Maharashtra HSC Board syllabus -- complete 11th and 12th Biology, Physics, and Chemistry.
  • NEET-UG syllabus -- including additional NCERT-specific topics beyond the state board curriculum.
  • MHT-CET syllabus -- derived from the Maharashtra board syllabus, meaning board preparation directly feeds CET readiness.

NEET-UG Specific Strategy

Exam-focused approach targeting the exact pattern and weightage of NEET-UG questions.

NCERT-Focused Teaching

Every line of NCERT Biology, Physics, and Chemistry is covered to ensure maximum syllabus coverage.

Daily Practice Problems

Chapter-wise DPPs designed to reinforce concepts and improve problem-solving speed.

Weekly Mock Tests

Full 720-mark papers every week, formatted exactly like the real exam.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the integrated batch sufficient for NEET, or do students need additional coaching?

Our integrated batch is designed as a complete NEET preparation programme. Students do not need separate NEET coaching. The curriculum covers the full NEET syllabus (including NCERT-specific content), and our weekly test series simulates actual exam conditions. Students who scored 664 in NEET (AFMC admission) and 510+ (government medical) were integrated-batch students.

How much of NEET preparation overlaps with the board syllabus?

Roughly 70-80% of the NEET Physics and Chemistry syllabus overlaps with the Maharashtra board syllabus. For Biology, the overlap is even higher. Our integrated approach leverages this overlap -- board preparation strengthens NEET preparation, and NEET-depth teaching lifts board scores.

Is there separate attention for students targeting AIIMS or top government medical colleges?

Yes. Students aiming for top NEET ranks receive additional problem sets and focused doubt-clearing sessions on high-difficulty topics. The weekly test analysis helps identify students who are performing at the top tier, and our faculty provides them with supplementary guidance.
